I originally had the list set to "reply to sender" - as I do for Greenleap. But I was getting quite a lot of emails to me that were meant for the group. and it was a pain having to ask people to resend them - I didn't want to forward them myself as I wanted to reinfoce the idea of people taking initiative in the group.
In the end I decided that although there would be hassle at times, whichever way I set the list, that overalll it was better to set it to reply to the list - so that commmuication was speeded up in the group and I had the least extra work!
I suppose I could temporarily change the settings while we have a need for personal replies - but my guess is that people will find itr confusing if the settings are changing from time to time.
