I have been a Counsellor/Facilitator/Trainer in private practice in Balmain, Sydney for over 15 years.
I specialise in Relationships, Communication and Learning.
 
As well as a BA majoring in Psychology, I’m in the midst of my Masters in Social Ecology ...tho having a bit of a sabbatical from it at the moment.
 
Always been passionate about the environment and social issues. Member of Friends of the Earth in the mid 70s. Trained up in the Natural Step, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Accelerated Learning and Neuro Linguistic Programming etc
 
Have been a founding member of numerous grassroots community organisations..... especially when I lived in Bellingen, near Coffs Harbour for a number of years.
 
I am fascinated by systems, structures and how people are shaped by them...love Quantum Physics.
 
This project is interesting to me because I would like to find an outlet for a deep need to participate in creating a future we would like to belong to...but I would like to come from a creative space rather than a destructive one....hence supporting courageous people , rather than tearing down the enemy ( tho I’m pretty drawn to that sometimes too ;-).
 
I believe we can’t talk about Sustainability unless we also include the societal/human/political perspective...they are all interrelated....one without the other becomes like the old Physics, useful but scrapes the surface, doesn’t go far enough.
